Shivaree update

So, I heard from my email buddy Bob Gannon out in LA that Duke
McVinnie apparently abruptly parted ways with Shivaree. Duke was
the guitarist and wrote a lot of the music, so I'm thinking this can't
bode well for the band. I'm fairly confident that Ambrosia will soldier
on, but I guess we'll have to see if this is a permanent thing. Duke
can't be too happy, because all references to Shivaree have been
removed from his site, and frankly, he seemed pretty darned cranky
when I saw them play here last February. I guess sudden and
emnity-filled fallings-out are the order of the day.

As it would happen. I just today received my highly anticipated
copy of Shivaree's Black Sessions recordings from early May of this
year, and it is likely one of the last shows McVinnie recorded with the
band. Too bad.
